Our Story
Founded in 2022, Arkina Holdings emerged from a deep appreciation for African craftsmanship and a recognition of the challenges faced by traditional artisans in accessing global markets.
Our founders traveled extensively across Africa, witnessing firsthand the incredible skill and cultural knowledge of local artisans, as well as the economic difficulties they faced in sustaining their traditional practices.
Today, we work directly with artisan cooperatives and individual craftspeople across African countries, providing them with fair compensation, marketing support, and access to international customers who value authentic, handcrafted goods.
Every product in our marketplace tells a story of cultural heritage, skilled craftsmanship, and community empowerment.
